The City of Ottawa, Illinois will receive sealed bids for replacement of concrete curb & gutter on various streets. This work includes the replacement of approximately 4700 ft. of curb & gutter, 265 sy. of driveways, 2,070 sf. of sidewalks including 19 ramps with detectable warnings, 340 sy. of Class C patching, 8”, related construction, and restoration.
Sealed bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 A.M. on April 29, 2025, and all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers on the said date at the said hour.
Proposals shall be addressed to the City Clerk and shall be inserted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside Proposal for 2025 Curb Replacement Project.
No proposal will be received unless accompanied by a bid bond, cashier’s check or certified check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Illinois, payable without condition to the City of Ottawa, Illinois in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities in bidding.
No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
